I’ve had some lovely dried lavender hanging around the apartment for ages now, just crying out to be photographed. And, for the first time in ages, there was some lovely afternoon sun streaming in through the sitting room window last week so I made the most of it and shot these:
Canon 400D, 70-300mm, f5.6, 1/25, ISO 200
Canon 400D, 70-300mm, f5.6, 1/80, ISO 200
Canon 400D, 70-300mm, f5.6, 1/125, ISO 200

I rarely get the chance to shoot at this time of the day, so was quite happy with how they turned out. There are a few more on Flickr.
Love the fineness of detail and the hint of shadow on the last pic really makes the difference!
