OK, I do. But there’s good reason.
Something interesting from today’s Irish Times. Even couples who blog together have rows. But if Nathalie and I have had an argument, our inner chimps come to the fore and we usually end up hugging it out.
I guess it’s a simple gesture to assure the other person you still love them, even after a scrap! I’m sure it also releases mood enhancing chemicals like oxytocin or endorphins to drug us into chilling out.
Moral of the Story? Make hugs, not War.
