State will be hitting counters in early March and it looks good. I’d been hearing rumblings and rumours of a new Irish music mag ever since the speedy death of NME Ireland (they really should have given that a bit more time).
Nialler9 is in the driving seat so it will have a strong digital presence as well, with promises of “news, blogs, reviews and mp3 tasters”. If the design of the site’s masthead is anything to go by, this will be one very well-dressed mag. Check out their Hot Chip interview here.
